Helen B. Davidson, 93, died Friday, Jan. 6, 1995, at Lutheran Homes where she resided.

Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Ostrem of Zion Lutheran Church officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are her grandson and great-grandsons, Steven Garrett, David Volkens, Glee Goodner, Andy Goodner, Ben Goodner and Michael Volkens. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or to Lutheran Homes.

She was born July 30, 1901, in Muscatine to Frederick and Lucy Koester Schmoldt. On March 22, 1931, she married Ted Lewis. She married Lyle Davidson in Toledo, Ohio, on Sept. 3, 1963. Mrs. Davidson was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Volkens of Shelby, a step-daughter, Eileen Flator of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and a sister, Eda Keever of Gladstone, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1957; her second husband in 1993; two daughters, Lucille and Jeanette; three brothers and one sister.
