Lyman Hute
Lyman M. Hute, 72, 1126 Lincoln Blvd., died Friday, Feb. 8, 1991, at Muscatine General Hospital.
Services were today, Feb. 11, at 1:30 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. David Hotelling of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiated. Pat Dilts was organist and Florence Hetzler, vocalist. Pallbearers were Dale Hute, Allen Hute, Gene Templeton, Roy Templeton, Lee Templeton and Lyle Hute. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Hute was born Jan. 15, 1919, in Jackson County, Maquoketa, Iowa, a son of Charles and Daisy Breden Hute. Formerly of Maquoketa, he had lived here for 50 years.
He married Madelyne Bird on Feb. 18, 1942, in Kahoka, MO.
Survivors include his wife, Madelyne; one son, Randall Hute, of Muscatine; one daughter, Mrs. Michael S. (Christine) Maxwell, of Muscatine; four grandchildren, Erik Hute, Shawn Hute, Stacie Maxwell, and Heather Maxwell; and one sister, Audrey Heath, of Clinton.
