Clarence Cromer
Clarence H. Cromer, 92, formerly of Moscow, died Sunday night at the Muscatine Care Center.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Leif A. Pohl of Grace Lutheran Church will officiate. Organist is Patricia Dilts. Vocalist is Florence Hetzler. Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Masonic rites will by the Ionoic Lodge No. 122,A.F.& A.M. will be at 7:30.
Mr. Cromer was born July 19,1893, at Moscow, a son of George and Jeanette Smith Cromer. He was a life resident of the area. On May 21, 1915 he married Ina Miller in Davenport. He was a member of the Moscow Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge Ionoic No. 122, A.F.& A.M. He had retired from farming.
Survivors include one son, Hillis Cromer, Moscow; one daughter, Gretchen Doak, Circle Pines, Minn.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Her was preceded in death by his wife in 1980; a sister in infancy and one great-grandson.
