Lifelong Local Resident, Dies.

Mrs. George W. Rollins, 48, a life long resident of Muscatine, died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday at Bellevue hospital, of complications following a major operation two months ago. Her home was at 904 West Eigth stree.

The daughter of William and Fannie Harris Hobert, Gladys V. Hobert was born May 5, 1899 at Fairport, Ia. She married George Rollins on Oct. 12, 1913. She was a charter member of the Lincoln Boulevard Baptist church.

She is survived by her husband, George W. Rollins, two sons, Raymond Rollins of Muscatine and dean Rollins, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Brenneman of Downey, Ia., Mrs. Velma Patterson and Mrs. Edna Faulkner of Muscatine, and Ethelmayre Rollins, at home; one brother, H. E. Hobert, in the U.S. military service; one sister, Mrs. Grace Lucas, Muscatine, seven grandchildren. Her parents, one son and one brother preceded her in death.

The body is at Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home. Funeral arrangements are indefinite.
