LOUIS FIDERLIEN DIES AT ATALISSA
WELL KNOWN RESIDENT SUCCUMBS TODAY.Survived by a Number of Muscatine Relatives—Funeral Saturday Afternoon From Home.
Atalissa, la., Jan. 27.—(Special.)—-Louis Fiderlien, a well-known, a well-known and highly respected resident of this city, passed away here shortly after noon today, at the advanced age of 77 years, 1 month and 6 days.
Mr. Fiderlien had suffered two or three paralytic strokes and his death is largely the result of these strokes, though his fatal illness was brought on by a severe cold which he recently contracted.
Mr. Fiderlien was born in Baden, Germany. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Margaret Fiderlien, and by eleven children, who are; Mrs. W. A. Howell, of El Reno, Okla.; Mrs. C. H. Hinkhouse, of Omaha, Neb. Mrs. Wesley Gladstone, of Burlington; Mrs. Wilhelmina Gladstone and Mrs. Isabell Norton, of Muscatine; William Federlien, of Salina, Kan., and by Ernest, Frank, Emma and Clelia, at home.
The funeral services will be held at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the home. The Masonic order will have charge of the services, Mr. Fiderlien having been a prominent member of that order. Interment will be made in the Timberlake cemetery.The Muscatine (Iowa) Journal
