Fred Beyer Is Called In Death; Service Friday.

Fred Beyer, 78, resident of Muscatine for 70 years, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Schwab, 1549 ½ Washington street, after a long illness.

He was born at Warsaw, Poland, on March 25, 1870, and married Augusta Huppel on Dec. 7, 1897, in Muscatine. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Schwab and Mrs. Minnie Rosenberger, both of Muscatine. Two brothers, his wife and one sister preceded him in death.

The body is at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by Dr. Joseph M. Kennedy, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
