Naomi Hendrix Services Held in Muscatine

Mrs. Naomi Katherine Hendrix, 78, Muscatine, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday at Muscatine General Hospital following an extended illness.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home. Burial was in Letts cemetery.

Mrs. Hendrix was born Feb. 23, 1899 in Wapello, the daughter of Wallace and Katherine Wheatley Kline. She was married to Vernon Hendrix and lived in Muscatine for 45 years and was a former resident of Letts. She was a member of the First Christian church.

Survivors include four sons, Walter of Moline, Ill., William of Dallas, Tex., Donald of Kansas City, Mo., and Larry of Anglo, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. George (Twyla) McDonald of Muscatine, Mrs. Neva Winters of Sunnyvale, Calif. and Mrs. Loletia Naber of Rockford, Ill.; 31 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one brother, Stewart Kline of West liberty; and four sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Leo) Schalk of West Liberty, Mrs. Emma Hixon of West Liberty, Mrs. Gladys Fisher of Davenport, and Mrs. Winifred Price of Roseman, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, three sisters and two brothers.
