Laurence Kuechmann

Laurence Kuechmann, 94, formerly of Minneapolis, Minn., died Monday, Jan. 25, 1988, at the Burlington Care Center.

Born June 29, 1893, in Muscatine, he was the son of John T. & Myrtle May Kuechmann. He married Emma Day in 1928 in Minnesota.

He was a member of the Minnesota Lodge No 224 A.F. & A.M. and the Christian Church, Minneapolis, Minn. He was the owner of the Laurence Drug Store, Minneapolis, Minn., before retiring.

Surviving are three daughters, Bernice Bailey, Burlington, Beverly Conroy, Joliet, Ill., and Carol Louise Cramer, Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Arlene Kohout,Manitowoc, Wis,; four brothers, Ted Kuechmann, Pensacola, Fla., Wallace Kuechmann, Mount Morris, Ill., the Rev. Robert Kuechmann, LaCrosse,Wis., and the Rev. William Kuechmann, Vancouver, Wash.; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

A family prayer service for Mr. Kuechmann was at Sheagren Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Ellmers officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn..

A memorial has been established for the Burlington Care Center.
