Geraldine McGill, 93, of Decatur, IL., formerly of rural Muscatine, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009.
Mrs. McGill was born Jan. 18, 1916 in Letts, the daughter of John Walter and Iva Flora (Orr) Kemp. She married William Rollie Canady on Dec. 10, 1938 in Norgalles, AZ. He died in 1943. She married Earl Wayne McGill in 1946. He died in 1970.
Surviving are her children, Wilber Canady and wife Bernadine of Wapello, Earl McGill Jr. and wife Nancy of Letts, Denny McGill and wife Laurie of Rhinelander, WI., Kenneth McGill of Decatur, IL., and Shelby McGill King of Decatur, IL; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Canady of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and infant daughter, Iva; a son, William Wayne Canady; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert and Donald Kemp.
