WILTON, Iowa - Rosemary E. Ehrecke, 79, Wilton, died on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Wilton Care Center, Wilton.

Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wilton. The Rev. Brian Shepley will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Pat Budelier.

Services will include altar and rosary. The rosary will be recited Friday and a Christian wake service
Friday. Pallbearers will be Terry Hermiston, Mike Lilienthal, John Lilienthal, Doug Weih, Pat Reid, Ben Wickum, Jeff Sears and Justin Ehrecke. Interment will take place on Saturday at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.

Visitation will be held at Bentley Funeral Homes in Durant and on Saturday from one hour prior to services at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Memorials may go to the Arthritis Foundation, hospice and to the Durant Ambulance Service.

Mrs. Ehrecke was born on March 4, 1921, the daughter of Clarence and Mamie (Doran) Budelier in Wilton Junction. She married Warren H. Ehrecke on Oct. 28, 1942, in Wilton. He preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1993.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wilton, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Muscatine County Farm Bureau. She enjoyed reading and her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary (Mrs. Curtis) Frick of Walcott, Sue (Mrs. Lenis) Weih of Clinton, Diane (Mrs. Thomas) Apel of Lisbon; one son, Wes (and his wife, Cecilia) Ehrecke of Clive; two sisters, Darlene (Mrs. Harold) Geist of Eldridge, Margie (Mrs. Bill) Paulsen of Durant; two brothers, Robert (and his wife, Mary Dorothy) Budelier of Wilton, Eugene (and his wife, Pat) Budelier of Stevens Point, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents and two brothers, Joseph and Leo Budelier.
