IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Adrian 'Bud' Angelsberg, 66, of Hills died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at the Greenwood Manor following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be at the Lone Tree Cemetery in Lone Tree. The Rev. Ann Rouse will officiate. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army of Iowa City.

He was born Nov. 11, 1934 in Ottumwa, the son of Anthony A. and Laurel E. (Linsley) Angelsberg. He served with the United States Army from 1955-1958, most of the time in Germany. He worked as a truck driver for King Iron Excavating.

He will be deeply missed by his two sons, Mike of Tiffin and Randy and his wife Laurie of Oxford; one sister, Marilyn Burich of Iowa City, and two nieces, Melissa Schintler of Iowa City and Melanie Seeber of Rockford, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
