MRS. HORMEL RITES SLATED THURSDAY

West Liberty - Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Snider funeral home for Mrs. Henry Hormel, 85, who died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday. Burial will be in the North Prairie cemetery.

Mrs. Hormel, the daughter of Rudolph and Emma Christian, was born March 12, 1871, at Sioux City and moved to this community about 50 years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Emma Dile, Cheyenne, Wyo., and a grandson, Virgil Dile.

She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1952 and also by a brother.
