TIPTON, Iowa -- Cleora Arlene Albaugh, 82, of 611 Crestview Drive, Tipton, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, after a short illness.

Services are at the Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Burial will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton.

Mrs. Albaugh was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Cedar Bluff, the daughter of Mearle and DeEtta Buhman Brown. She married Charles Franklin Albaugh Jan. 13, 1944, in Tipton.

She graduated from Tipton High School in 1939.

She was a farm wife and homemaker.

She was a member of the Tipton United Methodist Church, Farm Bureau, King's Daughters (Silver Hour Friendship), Ruth Circle and was past chairman of the American Cancer Society where she volunteered for 30 years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Marvin C. Albaugh and wife Donna of Lisbon and Dennis Albaugh and fiancee Carol of Tipton; a sister, Yvonne Buell of Dubuque; grandchildren, Brad Albaugh of Lisbon, Jodee Burnett of Kansas City, Kan., and Tara Albaugh of Phoenix, Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Greta, Colton, Sophia, Kristopher and Deven.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
