ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - David W. Guldenzopf, 48, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999. Services were at the Hodgson Funeral Home in Rock Island, Ill. The Rev. Terry Starns officiated. Burial was in the National Cemetery in Rock Island, Ill. Mr. Guldenzopf was born Sept. 26, 1951, in Rock Island, Ill., the son of Wesley and Lucille Hines Guldenzopf. He married Pam Stubbart on Oct. 13, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was a life member of the Rock Island VFW, Vietnam Veteran's No. 299. He was a volunteer at Blackhawk Fire District for 7 years and volunteered for the Milan Little League for 7 years. He enjoyed making stained glass and loved eagles. He worked for Coventry Apartments in Rock Island for 14 years. Since 1993, he worked for the City of Rock Island in the Sewer Department. Survivors include his wife, Pam; two daughters, Alison Guldenzopf of California and Amanda Guldenzopf of Sherrard, Ill.; sisters, Linda Anderson of London Mills, Ill., Sharon Bream of Muscatine and Mary Shaffer of Moline, Ill.; a brother, Larry Guldenzopf of Indianapolis, Ind.; a grandson, Jarred of California; his father, Wesley Guldenzopf and his stepmother, Donna; nephews, David, Andrew and Brett Canada. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his mother; a sister, Karen Guldenzopf; and a stepson, Jeremy Raymond.
