VETERAN PLUMBER SUCCUMBS AT HOME
EDWARD SLAVIN DIED HERE THIS MORNING
Had Followed the Plumbing Trade in Muscatine for More Than 30 Years - Funeral Notice Later

Edward Slavin died at his home, 106 Lord avenue, shortly before 1 o'clock this morning after an illness of about two weeks. A complication of diseases influenced by senility caused his death.

Mr. Slavin was born in Providence, R.I., 67 years ago last July. He moved to Muscatine about 40 years ago and had made his home here since. He was a plumber and followed his trade in this city for more than thirty years.

He is survived by his wife and five children. The children are Mrs. George A. See of Butte, Mont., the Misses Dorothy and Kathryn at home, Harry, who resides in the west, and Edward at home.

No funeral arrangements have been made.
