DAVENPORT, Iowa - Nadine M. Voss Armstrong, 44, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at home.

Funeral Service will be at the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Blue Grass Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Iowa Hospice, and Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Nadine was born on April 13, 1964, in Davenport, the daughter of David and Marjorie Voss. She married Larry Armstrong on July 8, 2002, in Rifle, Colorado.

She attended Blue Grass, Walcott and West High Schools.

She was a homemaker.

She loved living on the river, nature, her pets, bargain shopping and time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going for drives around the area.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Larry Armstrong of Muscatine; a daughter, Jessica Kitzman and husband, Colin, stationed in Tucson, Arizona with the U.S. Air Force; two sons, Justin Kitzman and wife, Beth, of Primerose, and Jake Kitzman and wife, Rachel, of Fairfield; grandchildren, Aiden Kidd and Cody Kitzman; her parents, David and Sharon Voss of Blue Grass and Marjorie and Jim Sievertsen of Davenport; a brother, John Voss and wife, Cindy, of Montpelier; sisters, Chris Platt and husband, John, of Walcott, Bev Grant and husband, Ray, of Blue Grass, Barb Long and husband, Tim, of Muscatine; step-brothers, Henry Hildebrant, Joe, Mike, and Mark Sievertsen, a step-sister, Michel Hunter and husband, Ken, Lora Norris and husband, Carl, Jill Stechmann and husband, Mike, and Lisa Sievertsen; her mother-in-law, Lavota Armstrong; special friends, Cheryl Kreiger-Orton, Kathy Grant and Barb Babcock and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Hazel Voss and Chester and Harriet Gradin, and step brother, Pat Sievertsen.
