JESSIE DAVIS

Mrs. Jessie Davis, 77, 400 Fletcher Ave., was found dead in her home Saturday afternoon. She died of a sudden heart attack.

Services will be held at 9 am Wednesday at St. Mathias Church. Father Martin Manning will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jessie Davis was born April 2, 1901, in Fort Madison, the daughter of Theodore and Judith Ann McCoy Weiter. She had lived in Muscatine most of her life.

Her marriage to Clinton Davis took place April 22, 1924, in Muscatine. She was a member of St. Mathias Church and the Women's Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include one son, Tom of Davenport, two grandchildren, and one brother, Gerald Weiter of Muscatine.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
