Mrs. Dungan, 85 Of Illinois City Goes In Death
Mrs. Eliza Ann Dungan, 85 longtime resident of Illinois City, died at Hershey hospital at 4:10 a. m. today after a several days illness
with a complication of ailments. The daughter of Jonas and Harriet Hayes Shetler, she was born March 12, 1855 in Buffalo prairie
township, Rock Island county, Illinois.

She was married to Isaac J. Dungan on Feb. 12, 1882 at Muscatine.
She was a member of the Methodist church at Illinois Cityand an honorary member of the Ladies Aid society of that church.

Surviving are a son, Leonard Dungan, of Illinois City, withwhom she made her home, a daughter, Mrs. Florence Cannam,also of Illinois City; a brother, John Shetler, of California, three
sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Crabtree of Illinois City, Mrs. Agnes Mortonand Mrs. Melinda Summers, both of Muscatine; three grand children
and two great grandchildren.

Her husband died on July 10, 1930 and an infant daughter, two brothersand three sisters also preceded her in death.
The body is at the Leonard Dungan home in Illinois City andrites will be. held at the Illinois City church at 2 p.m. Friday.
Burial will be in the Illinois City cemetery under the direction of the Hoffman Funeral home.
