ROBERT H. "BO" BUTLER
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Robert H. "Bo" Butler, 53, of Muscatine, died Friday, May 02, 2003, at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, after a two year battle with cancer.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Don Sondrol will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Robert Butler memorial fund.

Mr. Butler was born May 5, 1949 in Muscatine, the son of Robert E. and Nona Lee Butler.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He resided in Reno, Nevada for 20 years following his service time, where he worked at Harold's Club. When he returned to Muscatine he was employed at Plamore Lanes for the past eight years.

He enjoyed music, writing and spoke fluent French.

Survivors include his mother, Nona Butler of Muscatine; his companion of 30 years, Jack Ellis of Muscatine; a brother, Michael Butler and his wife Michele of Wapello; two sisters, Janet Londrie and her husband Bob of Muscatine; Vicky Gilleland and her husband Jack of Muscatine; many nieces, nephew and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.
