MRS. GENEVIEVE SCHREMPF
Mrs. Genevieve Schrempf, 64, 415 Evans Street, died at 7:10 Saturday night at Bellevue hospital after a two weeks' illness from influenza.
Miss Genevieve Erhart was born Nov. 9, 1861, at Luchein, Germany. Forty-three years ago she was married to Anton Schrempf and a year later came to this country and to Muscatine. She was a member of St. Mary's church.
Her husband preceded her in death three months. She is survived by nine children, Charles, in Missouri, Jacob and John, of Moline; Albert, William, Mrs. Anna Angerer and Mrs. Edward Kelly of Muscatine, and Sisters Mary and Malinda in a convent at Bozeman, Mont. Two sisters in Germany also survive, as do 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be from St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery. The Rev. J.I. Grieser will officiate.
