MRS. SADIE B. HUNTING

Mrs. Sadie G. Hunting, 78, died Saturday at the Julia Elizabeth home.

She was the widow of the Rev. W. Guy Hunting, former pastor of First Friends church in Muscatine. He died in 1962.

Mrs. Hunting was born June 7, 1888, at Alton, Kansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Gregory. She was married there on Oct. 6, 1909 to Rev. William Guy Hunting.

She was a member of the First Friends church.

Surviving are one son, Marvin D. Hunting of Mt. Pleasant; one daughter, Mrs. George (Marjorie) Apland of Muscatine; one brother, J.C. Gregory of Osborne, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Floy Barber of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,one brother and one sister.

The body is at the George M. Wittich funeral home, where friends may call beginning this evening.

Services will be held at 1 pm Thursday at the First Friends church of Muscatine. Interment will be at South Cemetery, Salem, Iowa.
