Mrs. Florence Glick, age 77, died Thursday, Jan 7 1988 shortly after being admitted to Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Mrs. Glick was born April 26, 1910 in Keokuk County, the daughter of Matthew and Margaret Corridan Gray. She was married to Harold Glick. She was employed with Varsity Cleaners in Iowa City. Later she was employed with the University Hospital in the Housekeeping Dept. for 10 years, retiring in 1974.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Christy and Mrs. Karen White, both of West Liberty; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Collins of Iowa City; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, three sisters and a great-grandson.
Funeral mass was held Monday, January 11, 1988 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in West Liberty with the Rev. L. Michael Colonnese officiating. Organist was Mrs. Patricia Daufeldt. Pall bearers were Jeff White, Scott White, Rick White, Dennis O'Donnell, Dan O'Donnell, and David O'Donnell. Honorary pallbearers were Steve McCrabb and Dave Shephard. Burial was in Kline Cemetery, Muscatine County, IA. The Snider Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
