Harlan 'Skeeter' Phillips

Harlan "Skeeter" Phillips was born 8 Feb 1915, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Samuel and Mammie (Adder) Phillips. Skeeter was a union painter for 45 years. He werved in the US Marine Corps during WW II. He married June Marion Sisk on 6 Oct 1937 in Muscatine. He was a lifetime resident of the Muscatine area and loved to go fishing. Skeeter is survived by a son, David Phillips of Atalissa, two daughters, Scherry Haimes of Davent]port and Delores Sivia of Atalissa; two brothers, John Phillips of Moscow and Larry Phillips of CA.,; four sisters, Betty Tennert of Muscatine, Peg Moore of Moline, Cleo Moore of Muscatine, and Cecil Atkins of Atalissa,; ten grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, June his wife, brother Elwood, three sisters Dorothy Ash, Pearl Haynes, Connie Simmons, and one great grandson. The family wishes to thank everyone who has offered their love and support during this time of their loss.
