MYRTLE ELLIOTT

Myrtle E. Elliott, 87, Rt. 1, Box 137, Letts, died Sunday evening at Muscatine General Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Schoepf will officiate. Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitiation will be 3:30 to 9 pm Wednesday.

The daughter of Fred and Arvilla Boke Hines, she was born April 24, 1894, in Muscatine.

Her marriage to John F. Elliott took place Feb. 12, 1920, in Muscatine. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church for more than 70 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Holcomb of Letts, and Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Aichorn of Indianapolis, Ind.: six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence L. Hines of South Bend, Ind.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Phillips and Mrs. Lozetta Martz, both of Muscatine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
