Mrs. Honts Is Called In Death; Rites Monday
Mrs. Elizabeth Cadogan Honts, 58, died at 6 A.M. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Yocum, 817 Fuller street, after an illness of three months.
She was born at Fowler ILL., on June 18, 1890, the daughter of William H. and Katherline Havens Cadogan. Her marriage to Robert J. Honts occurred here on December 22, 1908. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
surviving are her husband; three sons, James Eugene and Lloyd Harrison Honts, both of Muscatine; and Farrell Robert Honts Jacksonville, Ill., two daughters, Hazel Elizabeth Lawson and Fern Alvira Yocum, of this city; one brother Arthur Cadogan, Rock Island; 10 grandchildren.
Her parents, two sons, two half brothes and one half sister preceded her in death.
The body is at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home and services will be conducted there at 3 P.M. Monday by the Rev. R.R. Shirk, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery.
