ILLNESS FATAL TO LOUISE DAUFELDT

Long Time Resident of Moscow Community Dies; Funeral Thursday

Moscow- Mrs. Louise Daufeldt, 80, a resident of this vicintiy for many years, died Tuesday afternoon at her home four miles north of here after an illness of about a month.

Mrs. Daufeldt was born in Germany on June 4, 1855, and was married to John Daufeldt in Germany, April 16, 1882.

They came to America and directly to Davenport a year after their marriage, residing there for 13 years.

Later, they moved to the farm, where they have since resided with the exception of nine years spent in Wilton.

She is survived by five sons, John and Ed at home, Charles at Atalissa, Emil of Davenport and Martin of Durant; and 23 grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be held at the home at 1:30 pm Thursday and at 2 pm at the Trinity Reformed church, with the Rev. J.M. Newgard in charge. Burial will be in the Moscow cemetery.

Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be George, Albert, Charles, Walter, Arthur and Merrill Daufeldt.
