DEATH SUMMONS MRS. REYNOLDS; RITES THURSDAY

Mrs. James H. (Nellie) Reynolds, 72, who for many years lived at 800 Park avenue but who for the past two months has been residing at an apartment at 315 Sycamore street, died at 10:55 am today at the Sycamore street home. Death followed an illness of three weeks.

The daughter of William and Sarah Richardson Lohr, she was born April 17, 1869, in Muscatine and had lived here all of her life. She was married to James H. Reynolds, June 26, 1888 in Muscatine. She was a member of the First Baptist church and was active in the Delta Alpha club of that church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Everett (Nola) Rorick, Sr. of Wilton, Mrs. Charles (Hazel) Hermann of Pleasant Prairie, and Mrs. Milford (Beulah) Guthrie of Iowa City; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James H. Reynolds, who died Dec. 27, 1940; and two brothers, William and George Lohr.

Funeral servicdes will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral home with the Rev. C. B. Rayhill, pastor of the Park Avenue Methodist church in charge. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery and the body will remain at the funeral home until the services are conducted.
