MRS. MARIE HERMAN DEAD

Passes Away Yesterday Afternoon at Advanced Age of Eighty Years.

At 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, at her residence, 410 East Eighth street, occurred the death of Mrs. Marie Herman, a woman who has been a resident of Muscatine for many years. Death came after many years of suffering. Mrs. Herman was eighty years of age, being born in Germany in 1823. Coming to America in her girlhood days, she was married a few years later to Diedrick Herman. To this union were born five chidren, only one - George Herman, of this city, surviving.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence, to be conducted by Rev. J. J. Jans.
