OLD RESIDENT DIES FROM HEART FAILURE

LEMUEL MILHONE SUCCUMBS AT HOME OF SON TODAY

Death Occurs Shortly After Noon- Had Resided in Muscatine Since 1865 - Funeral Today

Heart failure caused the death of Lemuel Milhone, 79 years old, shortly after noon today, at the home of his son, Alonzo Milhone, residing on Mulberry avenue, between Second and Third streets. He had been ill since last March. The body was taken to the Meyers undertaking establishment, where it will be held until Tuesday afternoon, when the funeral services will be conducted.

The deceased had been a resident of Muscatine since 1865. To survive him he leaves the following children; George and Frank Milhone of Martins Ferry, O.; Mrs. Laura Elsworth of Santiago, Cal., John Milhone, of Muscatine, and Mrs. Clara Dornheim of Muscatine. His wife preceded him in death about seven years.
