MARGARET THOMPSON

Margaret E. Thompson, 88, of 117 W. Third St., died Friday morning, April 22, 1994, at Muscatine General Hospital.

Services will be at 10 am Tuesday at St. Mathias Catholic Church. The Rev. George Hoenig will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thompson was born July 10, 1905, at Wanda, Minn, a daughter of Peter and Mary Braun Berg. She married Ray "Hap" Thompson on April 22, 1924 in Wabasso, Minn.

She was a member of the St. Mathias Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Forrest (Dorothy) Reeves of Muscatine, and Mrs. Lyle (Lorraine) Swords of Peoria, Ill.; a granddaughter, Vanessa Lynn Reeves of Webster, Texas; a great-grandson, Mark Bellinger of Chicago, Ill.; and a sister, Mary Jenniges of St. Paul, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 11 brothers and sisters, one grandson, Michael, and one son-in-law, Forrest.
