DEATH OF PATRICK DORAN

Patrick Doran, of Wilton, died Thursday and was buried this morning. He was one of the old and respected residents of that place. In 1823 he was born in Pittsburg, Pa. There he was united in marriage with Miss Mary A. Doran on March 1, 1848, and four years later they came west. After a year's residence in Muscatine, they moved to a farm near Wilton residing there to the end of their days. Mrs. Doran having passed away May 22d, 1899. Two sons and four daughters survive, they being Dr. Oliver D. Doran of Davenport, and Attorney John M. of Memphis, Mo.; Mrs. Annie M. Killion, of Proser, Neb.; Mrs James McKilligan and the Misses Sandie C. and Mamie E. Doran of Wilton.
