MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Cecil R. Reynolds, 74, of Muscatine, died Friday, January 2, 2004 at Unity Hospital.

Services are at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Kolin Husmann, David Reynolds, Travis Finke, Darrell Duncan, Donald Reynolds, Cory Finke, Nicho Marin and Arnold Pluim. Honorary pallbearers are Todd Fulton, Andy Weber, Austin Demeyer, Thomas Van Auken, Joe Reynolds, Adam Weber and Jeremy Reynolds. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery with full Military Rites by the combined units of the American Legion and the VFW.

He was born on Feb. 11, 1929 in Muscatine, the son of Albert and Jennie Bell Holliday Reynolds. He was united in marriage to Donna I. Brady June 12, 1954 in Muscatine.

He worked at Kent Feeds for 31 and half years before retiring.

He was a member of the Walnut Park Baptist Church and the American Legion.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his three sons, David Reynolds of Columbus Junction, Don Reynolds of Muscatine and Ronald Reynolds of Glenwood; his five daughters, Barbara Pluim and husband, Arnold of Markesan, Wis., Debra Van Auken of Columbus Junction, Lisa Husmann and husband, Kolin of Ainsworth, Theresa Fulton and husband, Todd of Columbus Junction and Diana Heintz of Columbus Junction; one brother, Arthur Reynolds of Columbus Junction; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Lorraine Krist and Betty Terry and two brothers; Robert and Albert Reynolds.
