WALTER HONTS

Walter Honts, 68, of 2626 Rockingham Road, died at 11:20 pm Saturday at Mercy hospital, Davenport, of complications following an extended illness.

Born Jan. 25, 1900 at Columbus Junction, he was the son of Albert and Rose Sandy Honts. He had lived in Wisconsin a number of years and had lived in Davenport the last 10 years. He was a member of the Davenport Baptist Church.

Survivors are five sons, Danny and Robert of Muscatine, Raymond of Davenport, Lester of Oregon and John of Webster, Wis; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Burlingame of Missouri and Mrs. Dell Gaylor of Colfax, Iowa; one brother, Robert Honts of Danberry, Wis; also survivng are 20 grandchildren.

He is prededed in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich funeral home with Rev. Frank Gillett in charge. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
