MRS. MARY DEDRICK

Nichols - Mrs. Mary Cathren Dedrick, 90, died Wednesday afternoon at the Simpson Memorial Home, West Liberty, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at the Snider Funeral Home, West Liberty. Rev. Ralph Farmer will officiate. Burial will be in the Nichols Cemetery. Visitation is being held this afternoon and evening.

Mary Cathren Lewis was born Jan. 4, 1886 near Nichols, the daughter of John and Mary Essex Lewis. She was a life resident of the Nichols and West Liberty area.

She married August Dedrick Dec. 9, 1903 at Nichols. Following his death in 1958, she moved to West Liberty to make her home.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wallace (Dorothy) Mays of West Liberty; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
