I notice that your ancestors are from a place you spell Norshopping -- that would very likely be written in Swedish as Norrköping (though pronounced pretty well as you have written it). There is such a parish in Östergötland, on the east coast of Sweden and that is probably the place you will want to look if you want to trace your ancestors in Sweden. There is a gazeteer and interactive map at http://www.sna.se/gazetteer.html. You will need to include the umlauts over the O, as that is a separate letter in the Swedish alphabet. As your grandparents lived in a "socken" they were probably members of an educated minority: teacher, priest, organist or the like.
