I have in my possession an autograph book given to me by my grandmother, Pansy Beth HOLT TURPIN. The autograph book belonged to her grandmother, Lovina Jane RECORD CARSON. It is signed mainly by friends and relatives living in Cowley County, KS between 1878 and 1888. HOWEVER, there are two signatures in her book that are from ELLIOTT, IOWA. The individuals' names are Maria S. DOTY and James E. DOTY. They apparently visited my great great grandmother (or she visited them) on September 25, 1883. If you recognize these names, please contact me and I will send you a scanned copy of their entry in my great great grandmother's autograph bok.
