Mrs. Bonnie Stevens Rites Are TuesdayFuneral services for Mrs. Bonnie H. Stevens, 76, 107 Hammond St. will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the Nelson Chapel here. She died Saturday, Jan 9, at Murphy Memorial hospital after an illness of five days.
The Rev. William T. Miller will officiate at the services and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The daughter of Randolph and Matilda Watkins, she was born in Montgomery county Oct. 6, 1888 and was a lifetime resident of this county. She was married in 1908 to Harry E. Stevens, who died in 1951 . Surviving are a son, Maj. Randolph E. (Jack) Stevens, Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio, daughter Mrs. E. Loie Firkins, San Bernadino, Calif.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was a member of the First Methodist church and had been active her church circle and Friedly Sunday school class. She was a member of the VFW auziliary and a former member of OES.
