JOHN BRYSON DEAD

At the age of 63 years, 3 months and 13 days John T. Bryson passed away at the Clarinda hospital Tuesday evening at eight o'clock, and the funeral will be held from the residence in this city Friday forenoon at ten o'clock.

Deceased was born in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, was married to Miss Margaret Ann Lane at Roxabell, Ohio, January 26, 1871, and they at once settled on a farm southwest of Villisca. To them was born a son— Fred, who resides at Bozeman, Montana. The wife and mother died May 2, 1896. Married Katie Bolt in 1898. That marriage lasted a year. On March 6, 1901, Mr. Bryson was married to Mrs. Alice R. Stewart Greenlee, who survives him and who has the sympathy of many friends in her bereavement.

Deceased was one of the "boys in blue" being a member of Company A, 34th Illinois regiment, and served four years. He had been a member of the M. E. church since 1861 and was a man of good standing in the community.
