MORRIS NUNN OF RED OAK DIED
AFTER A BRIEF
ILLNESS
~
Special to The Daily Nonpareil
RED OAK, Ia. Nov. 3 – Morris Nunn, the eleven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bentley Nunn, died Thursday morning after a brief illness due to poison taken into his system by eating green walnuts. On last Saturday, Morris, in company with a number of other boys, was playing at the home of Mrs. Schaefer on West Coolbaugh Street, and in their sport built a bonfire and roasted potatoes, apples, etc., and ate them. A quantity of walnuts were also on hand, and the boys ate of these, Morris eating, it is supposed, quite a number. At any rate he took violently ill Sunday and grew worse until death came to his relief.

Morris is the last of five children buried by Mr. and Mrs. Nunn, three having died within the past year. Morris was a very manly little fellow, and popular with all who knew him.
