Funeral services for Roscoe Howard Moore, 86, Villisca, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Villisca with Pastor Albert Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Villisca Cemetery. There will be open visitation at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Nodaway Iroquois Lodge #590 AF & AM. Mr. Moore died Saturday ( Jan. 30, 1999) at the Villisca Good Samaritan Care Center, where he had been a resident since July 1997.

He was born April 30, 1912, in Adams County to Frank Towne and Della Louise Devore Moore. He married Eunice Margaret Stallings, June 11, 1939 in Villisca and she preceded him in death in 1986. He had worked for the Villisca Power and Light Plant fron 1943 until his retirement March 22, 1978.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Eunice Moore in 1986, infant brother, Alvin, and a sister, Mildred Rogers.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
