B. Brown Simmons, 96, passed away Nov. 25, 1998 in Temple City, CA. Memorial was private and burial was in the Evergren Cemetery in Red Oak.

He was born May 26, 1902, in Moorefield, WV. where he was raised. He married Lola Patterson May 16, 1929, in Red Oak. He worked for the Iowa Highway Commission, Defense Plants, Alaska Alcan Highway. On returning to Red oak, he went into business as a heavy equipment contractor. He moved to California in the late 1970's.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lola Simmons, Sept. 16, 1992, and many brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his only daughter, Nanette Dorsey and her husband, Joe , of Temple City, CA., four grandchildren, Tim, Kathleen, Kevin and his wife, Jane, Joellyn Divizia and her husband, Frank, six great grandchildren, Kyleen, Nicole, Chad Dorsey, Joey, Michael,Megan Divizia and one great great grandchild, Sarah Hughs.
