Funeral services for Enar Eric Lind, 76, Essex, were Friday, Feb. 26, at the Faith Evangelical Covenant Church in Essex with Rev. Don Nelson officiating. Burial was in the Essex Cemetery. Mr. Lind died Tuesday ( Feb. 23, 1999) at the Red Oak Good Samaritan Center.

He was born Dec. 2, 1922, in Essex to Eric and Hulda ( Lundgren ) Lind. He attended the Essex Schools and graduated from Essex High School with the class of 1940. He was united in marriage to Marcella Iverson, Nov. 25, 1989, at the faith Evangelical Covenant Church in Essex. He was in farming, trucking, and corn shelling business. Of special interest was his hobby of auto racing. He was a member of the Faith Evangelical Covenant Church and a church trustee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Lind, and his wife, Marcella Lind.

Survivors include a brother, Curt Lind and his wife, Marilyn, a nephew, Jerry Lind and his wife, Sharon, and their sons, Eric and Alex, niece, Debbie Bain and her husband, Jeff and their children, Heather and Greg, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
