Graveside funeral services for Blanche A. Cook, 92, Paradise, CA. formerly of the Griswold area, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 p.m. at Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel for precession to the cemetery. There will be open visitation at Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel starting Wednesday, Jan. 20. Mrs. Cook died Wednesday, ( Jan. 13, 1999 ) in Paradise, CA.

She was born May 12, 1906 in cass County near Griswold to Ross and Zeila ( Lloyd ) Hully. She graduated from the Griswold High School and attended Nebraska Methodist Nursing School in Omaha. She did private duty nursing in Omaha until her marriage to Glenn Cook. They moved to Long Beach, CA. where she worked in a clinic for many years until her retirement to Paradise, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Cook, in March 1983.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
