Services for Jonas Ivan Erickson, 66, who died of a heart attack at his Stanton home Saturday, March 12, 1949, will be held at the Sellergren Funeral Home at 1:30 and at Mamrelund Lutheran church, Stanton, at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday, March 15.

Rev. A. Leonard Smith will officiate. Music will be by Mrs. Marion Johnson, organist, and a quartet consisting of A. M. Kirkeberg, Lyman Anderson, Irving Nelson and Robert Johnson. On the floral committee will be Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olson and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Olson.

Bearers will be Gust Nelson, Stanley Norris, Conrad Ossian, Erick Hansen, Ernest Carlson and Richard Peterson. Burial will be in Mamrelund cemetery, Stanton. The Red Oak Masonic Lodge will conduct Masonic graveside rites. The Sellergren Service will be in charge.

Born in Scott Township, August 21, 1883, he was the son of Claus and Augusta Erickson. He married Irene Dahlquist in Lincoln, Neb., September 17, 1907. She died in 1937.

An electrician, he had lived in and around Stanton all his life. He was a past president of the school board and past master and charter member of Tarkio Masonic Lodge. He was a member of Mamrelund Lutheran church, Stanton.

He is survived by two sons, Jules of Whiting, Ind., Ambrose of Stanton; two daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Lindgren of Stanton and Stella Erickson of Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Sellergren of Red Oak, three brothers, Arthur and L. Edward, both of Stanton, Martin of Red Oak. Two grandchildren also survive.
