RED OAK - Graveside memorial services for Clara L. Cook, 75, of Red Oak, formerly of Council Bluffs, will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Grand View Cemetery near Sidney.

She died Oct. 12 at the Good Samaritan Center in Red Oak.

She was born in Hamburg on March 26, 1928.

Survivors include her children, Richard Akers of Shenandoah, Linda Mitchell of Phoenix, Ariz., Tom Akers of Council Bluffs and Steven Akers of Red Oak; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lanora John of Maryville, Mo., Darlene Davis of LaPorte, Texas, Charlotte Gibson of Shenandoah; two brothers, Charles Vaughan of Sonora, Calif., and Gene Vaughan of Tulsa, Okla.; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah is in charge of arrangements.
