In Memory of Colwell Samuel Baker

Colwell Samuel Baker, the son of Guy and Bessie Johnson Baker was born February 14, 1916 at Elmwood, Nebraska. He passed away after a lengthy illness on September 2, 1980 at Clarinda, Iowa.

He lived most of his life in Red Oak and was a carpenter for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, 1 brother Everett and 2 sisters, Virginia and Ruth.

Cal is survived by his father who lives in Haleyville, Alabama, 5 brothers - Arthur of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Paul of Nebraska City, Nebraska; James of Omaha, Nebraska; Robert in Louisiana and Harry of Haleyville, Alabama. Two sisters - Elizabeth - Mrs. Gilbert Brenning of Red Oak and Rachel - Mrs. Darrell Merk of Wallace, Michigan and by other relatives and friends.
