JOHN H. LARSON DEAD

John H. Larson, 82, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 12:40 p.m. at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. Lee Erickson, in Stanton, from infirmities due to his
advanced years, following sickness of five weeks. Funeral services will be
held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Mission church, of which
deceased was a member. Rev. J. A. Axelson will conduct the services.
Interment will be in Red Oak cemetery. Deceased was born Feb. 7, 1845, in
Sweden, and was married there Nov. 9, 1874, to Slina Anderson. They came to
this county May 1, 1882, and settled on a farm. A few years ago they
retired and moved into Red Oak. Mrs. Anderson died March 1 of his year.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs.Bernard Peterson, Andrew Larson,
and Mrs. Albert Julian of Red Oak; Mrs. Lee Erickson, Stanton, and Axel
Larson, Stennett. At the time THE SUN went to press further particulars
regarding the funeral could not be obtained.
