LAST RITES FOR MARY LOCKE

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Locke, who died June 27 at Monroe County hospital, were held June 29 from Lovilia Methodist Church with Rev. Wesley Lowry officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery.

Grandsons were pallbearers. Music was provided by Bill Barnes and Mrs. Dick Klobnak.

Mary Rose, daughter of Henry and Louise Vogle Nedderman, was born Dec. 24, 1890 in Indiana. She was united in marriage to William Thurman Locke of Attica on Jan. 11, 1915. They lived in the Lovilia and Marion county until retiring to Albia in 1938. She was a member of the Methodist church. Her husband, parents, one daughter thelma, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Edith Monk, Lovilia, Mrs. Ama Fox, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Elsie Sereg, Moline, ILL., and Mrs. Hazelle Chapman, San Diego, Calif.; three sons Walter of Knoxville, George of Agency and Harold of Rock Island, ILL.; 27 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
