Sarah E, Raner wife of James H. Raner, deceased was born in old Virginia April 1st 1823, died February 5th 1901 aged 77 years, 10 months and 5 days.

James H. Raner and Sarah E. Tylor were joined in matrimony in West Virginia in the year of Our Lord 1842 and lived a christian life together about 52 years when the death angel came and called the husband away and now He has called again and taken the mother and she leaves 4 sons and 3 daughters to mourn her loss.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. G. Ribeldaffer at the Union church Thursday Feb. 7 Victory township. A large congregation being present.
