Robert Feehan, Jr.

Robert B. Feehan, Jr., 42, of Melrose died June 5 at his home.

He was born in Melrose on Oct. 3, 1939, the son of Robert and Mildred Scieszinski Feehan. He had worked for Burlington Northern Railroad prior to retiring seven years ago. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose.

On Aug. 3, 1973, he married Kay La Von Anderson at Corydon. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents of Melrose; two sons, Christopher and James; one daughter, Tamera; two sisters, Sr. Mary Lucille of Des Moines and Barbara Ruepke of Chariton, and three brothers, Bernard of Woodburn, Vincent of Melrose and Richard of Newton.

He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

The funeral was Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose with the Rev. George Hoenig officiating. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery. A rosary was 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Humeston - Gilbert Funeral Home in Albia.
